to this on-going fear and situation is term limits, two max and preferably one term, maybe longer time for it. We have far too many politicians who vote for their RE-election first than for whatever may be best for the country (maybe) and if that isn't contrary to their best interests - like never voting for a good law they know most of their constituents don't want or like.

IOW.....I see no change coming short of a REAL insurrection that actually is one. And I never heard of a violent takeover that was in the people's interests.
