It's a dying industry, at least at the first-run megaplex level. They destroyed all the local theaters to move to this business model. I don't know what they can do to revive in-person viewing at the cinema. The revenue and demand are just not there.

It pains me that kids are happy watching movies on a little 5" phone screen. If people are happy with that, I don't know a cinema is supposed to do.
