With Gore, they really wanted to make sure they played fair and by the gook. W played to win.

Obama I guess legitimately thought the "other side" would negotiate in good faith and wanted the best for country so he pssed away huge popularity.

Now Biden - must negotiate, must be non-partisan.

If the GOP has this chance they would get done what they wanted and leave the bodies at the curb. Dems are such pvssies. Whatever opening they may have had is closing pretty rapidly. Biden is pretty scandal-free, but his delays will hurt both him and his party.
