It's interesting when people say "follow the science" about

masks, but those same people profess to be Christians, and therefore follow a set of beliefs that not only don't "follow the science", but require a total suspension of scientific principles in order to be true.
Since the science does not support wearing masks, it is silly to wear masks, they say. But I don't think that science supports the Virgin Birth, the resurrection of Christ from the dead, or the real presence of Christ in the Eucharist. And yet the same person who insists it is foolish to ignore science in the first, professes to ignore science in the others--and to do so fervently.
Either science is your god, or God is your God, but they can't both be. More than a bit of hypocrisy going on there.
