still believing that Trump is somewhat intelligent or competent as a president or thinking that organized religion is valid. To me we have a moral obligation to mock both and not allow a sense of normalcy or validity to things of that nature. Supporting Trump, organized religion, waiting on Santa to bring you presents, not believing in climate change, thinking the earth is flat, believing immigrants are coming to get you, etc I see no meaningful distinction and they are all equivalent. So I hold the position they should be treated equivalently.
People have a right to believe all of those things, but as a society we have a moral obligation to not create the sense that doing so is normal or intelligent or valid.
