and death decision in mere seconds and respond appropriately. They want to second guess every decision made and judge it through their bias.
Let's be clear. Bad cops can and should be dealt with harshly. Unions should not protect bad officers. Abuses of power should be punished as severely as the law allows. But, if it is a close call on what happens I will side with law enforcement over the law breaker every time. You often have less than a second to make a decision that could mean the difference between your life and the life of the person with a weapon. I will absolutely give the benefit of the doubt to law enforcement in that situation. If you don't want to be a statistic, don't commit crimes. Don't pull a weapon around police. Don't pose a threat to others. And if you don't agree with this, show me all the cases of law abiding citizens sitting peacefully in their homes being shot and killed by police. Not saying it never happens. Only that it almost never happens. Somehow all of these shootings involve people who have decided to participate in a life of crime. And that decision comes at a cost.
