So many angry know-it-alls hoping for the worst, just so they can say "told you so" and beat their lame horse to its inevitable death.
On one side you have a group of misguided extremists, who think they are doing what's best for America, but are so blinded by the other side's extremists that they mistakenly think that the country is full of hateful bigots. They take their virtue-signaling selves too seriously, and anger and repel those who might be able to help their cause. Well, fvck that noise.
Then you have the other group. They're just ****ed. ****ed off because "this is America gotdamit" and it's not looking like the America they were brought up in and promised. A former POTUS had this to say: Asked on Tuesday how he would describe the Republican Party as he sees it today, Bush told NBC's Hoda Kotb on the "Today" show, "I would describe it as isolationist, protectionist and, to a certain extent, nativist."
I'm sure some smart-arse here will tell me GBjr is out of touch with his party. Well, maybe that's a good thing. Maybe he sees it for the sham it is. Maybe some of you could use some distance from your favorite news source. Not every Mexican is a useless leech. Not every black person is an unemployed, ready-to-riot thug. Not every white person is a tone-deaf bigot.
