no death penalty, in response to this:
"Forgiveness does not = removal of all punishment on earth. How come people who confess their sin pay fines and/or go to jail or prison?
You logic comes from the father of lies."
Why? You cherry pick and choose isolated verse, ignoring paragraphs and sometimes chapters which completely refute your lies.
Show me anywhere in the Holy Bible where it says government is not to use capital punishment.
Be guided by 1 Corinthians 14:9.
"So likewise you, unless you utter by the tongue words easy to understand, how will it be known what is spoken? For you will be speaking into the air."
Don't give me verses directed to individuals or mobs. Show me in the New testament where it says to government to not use the sword to execute a murderer.
"Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake." - Romans 13 (Post Ascension of Christ)
