the time Chauvin rested his knee on George Floyd's neck from nine minutes to four minutes. Additionally, expert witnesses called by the prosecution are forced to admit that Chauvin's knee was actually resting on Floyd's shoulder and not on his neck. And finally, the prosecution is no longer claiming Chauvin's actions killed Floyd, but that they were a contributing factor. It is probably a certainty that no jury in Minnesota will acquit Chauvin, but on what basis were these charges brought, if not from the sheer weight of political pressure? The defense hasn't yet has it's turn and called any of their witnesses, including the Hennepin County Medical Examiner. I thought this was supposed to be a slam dunk conviction.
