The US Open is owned by the USGA, not the PGA.
The Open Championship is owned by the Royal and Ancient.
The PGA Championship is owned by the PGA of America, not the PGA Tour.
The PGA Tour actually owns none of the major championships.
So, clearly, this situation is different. Augusta National, an entity in Georgia with access to exactly one property, is not moving their tournament off their property. I'm guessing you expect Coke to cease selling Coke in Georgia now.
