refuse to take state tax credits in protest if they feel so strongly that the governmental authority is wrong?

After all, Delta taking the state tax credit\money and then criticizing that same money giving agency is a perfect case of biting the hand that feeds you, and seems extremely self serving.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
