Gaetz seems to have a history with troubling issues like this... He didn't believe that Epstein needed to be retried and joked about changing the wording on the "Welcome to Florida" sign saying that it should read, There's no age that you can't be sexy..

Tweets that were joking about a 15 year old girlfriend in 2014...

Lots of bad optics.
