That this season was bad.

Since 1994 there have been 27 seasons. Here are the seasons with a higher NCAA seed.

1995 8 seed
1999 8 seed
2003 6 seed
2009 3 seed
2012 2 seed
2018 8 seed

That’s six.

There are a few years that Mizzou had a 9 seed.
2000
2001
2013
2021
