buy-in waxed and waned throughout his career at MU. He was given plenty of opportunity too. It's clear to me that his refusal or inability to defend was ultimately the cause for the division.
When your highest usage player is unhappy, the team is going to struggle. And the team struggled late in the year. I'm not a fan of the "addition by subtraction" cliche, but I don't think CM is sad to see him go. Sounds like Pinson, similar to Harris, has a bunch of people in his corner telling him how awesome he is, and how he isn't getting the love he deserves from CM.
Good luck to him, I say. If he ends up at Auburn, I sure hope he learns to defend, or Pearl will sit his butt on the bench. UGA might be the perfect place for him - there he won't be held accountable. Crean doesn't seem to mind if players don't defend.
