possibility that I might pass on something fatal to someone I love - a person I'd prefer to spend time with than hide in fear from.
I like the idea that when the guy giving estimates for windows this morning with his gaiter up, asked if it was ok for him to take it down when he entered my home, and I was able to tell him he was ok to do what he wanted as long as he was ok with me doing what I wanted.
It's been a bit more freeing to be able to walk through "covid cove" in our ICU without having the thought in the back of my mind that there might be aerosols floating around.
It's been freeing to know that my vaccination status makes the possibility of transmission around my family less likely - thus I don't feel like my wife and kids need to be vaccinated in order for my family to be safe.
I understand that you are mocking the virtue-signaling libs on twitter who are reacting to getting the vaccine like they were when Biden was elected like it's some life freeing event on par with a religious experience (and given that politics/govt and apocalypsism is a form of religion, that makes sense)
