*consistently* at a place like Wichita State, imagine what he could do at a P5 program like ours.

It astounds me that some of you (albeit a minority) would pass on him. If it's because of his "baggage", keep in mind: That's THE ONLY REASON we would be able to hire him. We have our fair share of baggage as well.

IMO, Sterk should have someone gauge Marshall's interest, and reach out to our wealthiest boosters about it as well. If Marshall assures us that he's addressed his issues and would agree to a reasonable incentives-laden contract, and we have enough boosters on board to pay the buyout, then a deal is possible — either now or next year (assuming another school doesn't seize on the opportunity before we do).
