on paper, it looks like CM has done a good job, but in reality he hasn't "built" anything after 4 years.

The cupboard will empty due to 3 years of poor recruiting, and next year will be a complete rebuild from scratch. Like 2017, except without the momentum from the Porters.

Also, the first NCAAT bid was due to Geist, Barnett, Jontay, and Kassius who said he chose MU because of the Porters. Those were all players who CM inherited or who fell into his lap.

The NCAAT bid this year was due to a roster full of seniors, and gave MU fans a glimpse of his ceiling. The team regressed over the course of the season, a tell-tale sign of bad coaching.
