culture warriors can't allow free speech or facts to interfere with the more nonsensical elements of their agendas. They need to censor those ideas and suppress those facts.

Your first paragraph above was logical, other than admitting that you d"don't give a rat's asss" about the injustice of firing a teacher for expressing her opinion in what she thought was a private matter to a fellow faculty member. Her opinion, as you noted was not racist in the least, but the leftist students interpreted it that way because they don't like the truth and do not like anyone who does not ignore it or twist it to support their preferred world view.

It was also unjust to suspend her fellow faculty member for just hearing what she said and not correcting her right away, even though it was intended as a private conversation, was not racist by your own admission and no one contested the accuracy of what she said.

That turn of events will obviously chill open discussion for the faculty and staff at Georgetown and everyone will be looking over their shoulders for the thought police.

But you could not care less as you toke up at your next fire.
