more time and money. I'd like someone to explain why losing so many games after having a double digit lead, often late in the games, is a hallmark of a good coach.
I saw a lot of games the last 4 years lost due to
A) Poor coaching
B) Poor recruiting after 1st year
C) Poor player development
D) Poor game planning
E) Poor fan attendance/enthusiasm
F) Poor player execution
G) Poor player BB IQ
Coach Martin is seemingly an extremely nice man, and a high character guy. But for millions of dollars, you need to be able turn all those poors into good to greats. He started off well, but has consistently underachieved.
I've seen Mizzou settle and lose, gamble on unproven in the power conferences and lose, keep coaches with stage fright too long, keep true sons too long, but never saw them break the bank for a high character coach with an excellent record at the highest level. There's always an excuse too. "What good coach would want to come here?"
I'm not for throwing good money after bad, or wasting time barely keeping the nose above the water.
