and the numbers are about as low as they've been since this started and dropping as more and more people get vaccinated and we reach some degree of herd immunity in a lot of places. Some spots, like CA, won't go back to normal until we're approaching 0 cases. Others, like Texas, are basically already there.
The stragglers are just bored at this point and want the drama to keep up.
