similar. The conspiracy involved a KC Police Detective, a Jackson County Prosecutor, a State social services victim's advocate, a KC Psychologist and several private practice attorneys. Initially, the man lost his children and ended up in jail awaiting prosecution. What saved him was the fact that he was from a prominent democrat family (everyone knows the name) that still wielded influence. In the end he filed multiple lawsuits against those involved in the conspiracy and garnered settlements with several of the players, the charges were dropped against him and he recovered custody of his children.
