They play on the gullible and enable folks who believe they are some kind of elite to drive their propaganda while creating disorder among all sorts of "groups".
As an example, just look at Lebron James ripping in the press the NBA official who dared say that he stood with freedom protesters in Hong Kong. That was also when Mr. James complained vehemently about people being oppressed here, and encouraging protests in the US. That is no accident.
