history. And it consumes vast resources of individuals, mostly in an unending mission to perpetuate itself. Who is President has nothing to do with what course it shall take in the collection and consumption of those resources. The governmental history since 1933 tells you that.

Your "best figurehead" scenarios are meaningless to the real world of power and control of that money machine.
