Is a large part of this child’s failure.
The idea of modern society that the state is the keeper of the child is a preposterous failure. And I’m not convinced it isn’t by accident.
Mom’s rhetorical question about “where’s the mentors?” Is simply laughable, sad and entirely predictable from someone trained to be a ward of the state.
