Nothing self-congratulatory about it. Yrs back I heard it was five degrees out and thought fcking A, I gotta see what 5 degrees is all about. Same thing yesterday. On New Years day '85, I skied with lovely Fiona J from Australia at Snowmass - it was 5 degrees. You can't do that. We made ONE run and headed to a slope side bar for hot buttered rums all morning. Can't see when it is that cold, but I dig the cold temps.
