Pretty cool story.
The CEO gave a speech how he wanted all employees to act as if they were the CEO.
Dude took it literally and called up the CEO and scheduled a meeting with him. When he called the secretary was totally confused but eventually let him through. CEO liked his grit and allowed a full product pitch meeting to get scheduled.
Turns out janitor man had actually been learning the full vertical cycle from manufacturing to sales by just asking people in the company if he could tag along while they do their jobs and asking questions. So he was prepared and thorough he impressed the CEO with his pitch.
