The team just isn’t very good. They keep losing to the bottom dwellers no matter where they’re seeded no one would be surprised if they lost in the first round or made it to the sweet sixteen.
Everyone is giving praises to a coach who’s team is average full of seniors with NO ZERO HOPE of winning next year. This will be life under Martin, three years of losing one year of being decent because of a team full of seniors.
You don’t rebuild in basketball with 3 star players. He had five openings and filled them with with guys no one else wanted.
Next year Mizzou should be favored to finish in the bottom four of the SEC ... it will be back to usual for Martin.
Martin will keep his job for next year but I would bet fired after next year when they finish 6 or 7 games under 500.
