up on a college basketball message board?

It's a discussion topic and one that is relevant as the poll was just released.

As has been pointed out below, it affects Missouri's overall ranking.

I don't think it's a stretch to suggest that rankings can affect recruiting as well.

Whether it is bias or incompetence or something else, I don't think there is anything wrong with questioning the qualifications of someone that is so widely divergent than all of the other voters in a basketball poll.
