If the head-to-head makeup games could potentially change the “byes” in the SEC Tournament, they will try to play them. For instance, if Mizzou and LSU tied for fourth place, they would try to play the game to break the tie. We most likely will never play the Vanderbilt game. For instance, if we finish a game behind LSU, we would not get the opportunity to beat LSU and have them lose their make-up game. So, in essence, we need to finish at least a game ahead of LSU in the standings. If either team would win the tie-breaker regardless of outcome, the game would not be played.
I have also heard that the chances of the SEC Tournament being played at all is about 50/50 so all this may not matter.
