and I don't know them. In that realm I would be interested in hearing what an attorney there might write about it.
In the moral realm I think that it would indeed be something of a gray area, but I would tend to say that she would have been justified in shooting at him.
Most laws state something along the lines of shooting at them while fleeing to be justified if they had already committed a felony and could be a danger to others.
I think those laws are reasonable, and I think that both of those criteria were met in this instance. But our information is a bit limited here.
If I were sitting on a jury and heard evidence, including her testimony I might well have a different opinion.
