disdain for the stifling of thought invariably do all of the stifling.

Always been that way, always will be.

Those (pickle, yourself, ummmm, myself, hopefully many others) who TRULY value liberty and the individual will defend ALL, not just those whose words happen to align with ours.

It's fine to criticize, eviscerate with words the thoughts of others. It isn't fine to seek those in power(private, but especially public) to stifle them outright.

Twitter and Facebook have all the rights in the world to stifle what they wish. It's private property, private domain. It doesn't make them admirable nor "liberal".

With that said, Bobby Joe Racist has every equal right to post his vile views of the world on his private property or that of any willing provider.

It isn't virtuous to use force to stifle speech, regardless of how vile you find it to be.
