on this board? I believe this board to be of higher intelligence than the general public.
Yet, despite years of posts on the subject, people routinely just don't understand.
A few months ago, one team blue was anti-police and pro protests, team red was pro-police, anti-protests. Then overnight they flip flop.
One team blue poster who claims to be anti-war switched when Hilary wanted to set up no fly zones in Syria, then criticized Trump for not sending troops into Syria.
Team blue posters liked Obama's talk of a reset with Russia, then when Obama's side starts claiming Russian collusion, Russia is now the bad guys.
Team blue and team red forever switching positions based on what the leaders of each side say and do.
Libertarian thought sees the problem as being the government period. All of this team red and team blue is noise distracting from the real problem being government is the source of most problems then government tries to sell a solution to the problems government created.
But people don't stop and think. They insist that just voting for better team red or team blue candidates will make things better. It doesn't.
People here also assume the Libertarian Party represents libertarians. They may represent some, but not all. Not all libertarians believe in becoming part of government to make things better, going back to the flawed, if we just vote for a better candidate belief.
Libertarianism does not mean people are in lock step with their political or even social beliefs. They aren't. Libertarians are about the individual being the one in the best position to make decisions on what the0 individual needs.
What libertarianism is about will be posted on here time and again in the future. I have little doubt there will still be many who fail to understand it and misinterpret what it means.
