They are conservatives only during the election cycle.
As Ds pretend to be moderates and patriots during the same period.

R politicians are liberal-lite.

Also, it is not just how much money the government spends, it is what they spend it on.

Liberals want freedom reducing rules and regulations about the planet, welfare, illegal aliens, affirmative action, and social justice. They are all for compassion, as long as they don’t have to do anything themselves or spend their own money.

Conservatives want a stronger military, lower taxes, and less regulation.

Republican politicians don’t really give a shlt and just want a cushy government jobs.
