It is the spike that makes this thing particularly deadly, and the mRNA vaccines attack or inhibit the effectiveness of the spike. So the vaccine will stop any mutation that has the spike. And a mutation that doesn’t have the spike loses its deadliness.

So don’t worry about it, just get yourself vaccinated as soon as you can.
