an 18 drinking state at the time, so no free drinks for yours truly. In one of the boldest moves I ever made, I walked into the stadium with a 6-pack of Heineken in plain site and nobody stopped me or said a word.
Funny story, a friend of one of my fraternity brothers was living in Phoenix some years later and went to a game between ASU and the Air Force Academy. Apparently, the Air Force cadets get a little rowdy when they get off campus, because my frat brother's friend overheard a little old lady ASU fan say "those Air Force Academy boys are the rudest fans I've seen since those Missouri people."
If I remember correctly, ASU went undefeated that year under bad a$$ Frank Kush while Mizzou ended up 6-6. Not bad considering our record the previous year was 1-10.
