posts promoting other programs/conferences were *the* sole or even primary reason. In fact, my main point in that thread was that it bothers me as a fan. As a side note, I mentioned that it could give recruits the same impression it gave me — that he would rather be coaching somewhere else.
In general, it's an example of Cuonzo lacking a fundamental understanding of the dynamics of recruiting, similar to you. Recruiting is nuanced and detail-oriented, some of which is hard to articulate — it's something you either get or you don't.
The last thing I'll say is that I follow many prominent head coaches on social media, and I've *never* seen one promote another school or conference the way CM has with Purdue. It's not a good look. If you don't understand that, I can't help ya.
