I was hoping to win at least one of our two games today...

so I'm definitely feeling good right now despite the UGA loss.
A couple reasons why this win was huge...
(1) The media coverage would have been *brutal* in STL tomorrow if we had lost tonight's game, considering the beatdown against UGA.
(2) "Football is king" in college sports, but our hoops program needed this win more than the football program did. I truly believe the FB program is trending up with Drink at the helm, regardless of what happened today, but Cuonzo needs all the help he can get to stabilize the program.
I'm proud of what the players and staff have done so far, and pleasantly surprised. They've earned a Top 20 ranking with this 5-0 start.
