to Franklin, Ekwerekwu, and Jared Perry in that order, with Danario only having 15 on the season. Maclin wasn't at Mizzou yet. Yes, he did have Coffman and Rucker. However it's not like the misconception that Bazelak is throwing to garbage receivers. I'd put Chism, Banister, Know, and Hazelton right there if not better than Franklin, Ek, and Perry. Obvious edge to the CD TE's and huge edge to the RBs Bazelak has thrown to, which have totaled 35 receptions already this year, with games still to play.
Also, the RBs in '06 had a collective total of 11 receptions all year. Rountree has that by himself already.
My point is simply that as a first-year starter Daniel was better. Again, Bazelak may leave here the best of all-time and I'd be pleased beyond belief and I'm sure Chase would too. Just right now, Daniel was the better first-year starter.
