Let me put it this way - would yesterday's game have been more exciting if it had gone as the 2007 KU game went? The 2007 game was close and KU made a valiant effort at the end, but the *gameplay* was nowhere near as dramatic and exciting from start to finish, with momentum swings and multiple lead changes (including two in the final minute).

It's hard to remember a game that was as thrilling from pure gameplay as yesterday's.
