As *anyone* who actually watched the game (and has an IQ over 80) would know, the difference was that the penalties called on MU had severe momentum-changing impacts (e.g. converting a fumble recovery to an ejection of our best player, or converting a defensive stop on 3rd & 10 to a 10-yard penalty and fresh set of downs that leads to an Arkansas TD, etc.)
Most of Arky's penalties were meaningless offsides and false starts that were virtually inconsequential.
Lastly, we were called for everything (and several phantom calls) while Arkansas got no-call after no-call, including 90% of their holds (in fact, were they flagged for holding even once?.. they were doing it the *entire* game).
Only a simpleton would look at the stat differential and conclude it was favorable to MU. Anyone who watched the game knows Mizzou was getting hosed from start to finish. The officiating bias/advantage given to Arkansas was at least 17 points.
