Since reality seems to be so hard to find these days for many of you...
A. No one would take my $1,000 bet offers for months. That is not in dispute just do a search.
B. The 7176 bet, however, was actually agreed to twice by 7176 on 3/3/20.
C. Once via TBIM...

Including a reply in which he said sure since he had lost $15,000 in the market that day. Right.
D. And, officially, via a thread which I created on the same day, 3/3/20.
E. Here are the terms and the offer and terms:

E. Here is the acceptance in the same thread, 12 minutes later:

F. I figured I would get a TBIM from him after the election (which is over). Never happened.
G. On 11/9 I reached to ask when I could expect payment and here was his response:

H. Over the next two days, I reached out to him with the "proof" that he had made a $1,000 bet that Trump would win the election, something that to be fair, most people would easily forget.
I. More refusal. Requests to send proof. Proof sent (as here), more denial, including this gem, which sound like angry Chinee woman at dry cleaner:

J. After it was clear he was lying and not gonna pay, I made his welsh public, as should always be done, regardless of political affiliation.
K. As to all of this BS about escrow, it was NOT a condition of the bet (clearly) and so is irrelevant.
L. Despite it not being relevant, in point of fact, I researched but could not find a practical solution. If there is one, it wasn't apparent to me after looking into it and, secondly, I was worried that even if Biden won there would be some controversy and it would end up being a headache like this has become. Further, no one that I'm aware of seriously wanted to take me up on the bet. In fact, a few used the escrow difficulty as an excuse to say they would bet if only I could escrow.
M. I would be willing to have the money donated to a charity of my choosing so long as 7176 could provide some sort of evidence the payment had been made.
N. If you wanna welsh, you're a welsher. But you don't get to take a simple bet and fart cloud it up with baseless claims there was no bet when there is clear proof to the contrary.
