Sweden never had the draconian government lockdowns other countries had, but rather provided information and made recommendations people could voluntarily follow.

Yes, the infection rate was higher early on but has dropped significantly and the death toll is now far lower than in most other countries... now averaging 5 deaths per week.

They dropped from high up on the charts in deaths per million to 15th place internationally and are certainly on a major downward trend with additional countries who also had the fascistic government lockdowns poised to pass them up. The US, UK and Belgium all have higher death rates and the current death rates per million per week put Sweden far, far down the list.

They are also not on the verge of imitating the fascistic tactics of the other nations now. Why would they? What they have done has been far more rational and the people are enjoying the results and are quite happy with their enlightened response and protection of their freedoms.
