All insurance (auto, home, dental, medical) has varied levels of coverage. With respect to medical, some people go with high deductible, or whatever is cheapest, rather than a plan which is "better".

Again, sorry about the diagnosis. Perhaps her physician can recommend another hospital or treatment center which is in network.
