Frankly, I don't think Trump is really a white supremacist. I think he's pretty much ambivalent to the entire racial divide in the country; the only thing that matters to him is that he perceives a percentage of his base identifies with the white supremacist message and needs to be placated. Hence his unwillingness to outright condemn. He knows that there are those in his base (and probably a fairly significant number) that while not outwardly racists, sympathize with white supremacy. I have family members and relatives that definitely fall into that category.

Please explain why this message is being reported.
