That will help Bazelak, a pocket passer, a lot. SEC speed negates Robinson's rushing/scrambling. We need an offense that will be more dynamic and move the ball down the field. Drinkwitz offense relies on creating space for the best playmakers. Continuous short passes compress the zone. Our QB needs to be able to hit long plays consistently to open up the field for playmakers by making them pay for edging in on our short passes. I don't believe that Robinson is the guy who can consistently do that like we need. Watch what happens against other SEC teams when they watch our tape and take away short passing routes. That's when we'll see what Robinson and Bazelak can or cannot do.
