That's the difference Tilmons 3 pt shots taken make to your point. Not to mention the fact he had the best % of all those players. Why take out the best shooting %. If my point there sounds ridiculous to you, well it matches including him in your post. Your point would have held the same validity without including him. He's not and never will be a primary 3 pt shooter.
Now to get to the question as to having the others minus Tilmon and the freshmen taking 3 pt shots, CMs thinking could be along the lines that same group shot 36% on exactly the same amount of shots taken the year before. That's a good % for any group of players. Now the question is which year was more a reality. My sense is since they will probably be in that range of attempted 3pt shots or more this year we'll get a better idea. Right now it's left to to each individuals conjecture.
