what Robinson brings to the table. They also believe that Bazelak has them set for a solid back up this year, next year and now, the year after that.

Depending upon Bazelak's growth, he may see the field as a starter in 2022 or 2023, but it's very unlikely he will takeover for Robinson, who has not only improved significantly since arriving, but is also much more athletic and is a factor in the option/run game.

Robinson, barring injury, will be the starter. It's been known that he will be the starter since coach Drink arrived. They gave them all a shot with 1st team players to see if anything changed after the summer, it hasn't. Robinson is getting the reps with the "first team" (should note: big questions regarding OL so technically the first team isn't known to this point).

Rest assured, Alabama knows who QB1 will be.

There are question marks and the team has concerns in this order:

-Offensive Line...as you can imagine, some players are mostly set for starting, but there are 3 holes where it's going to be another week or so before they are filled. This is going to be a very weak point for the team this year, however. That's also why Robinson is extra valuable, as he doesn't need a clean pocket to operate.

-Defensive Line...while they are getting push with our OL, there is concern some of the guys are undersized/not elusive enough yet to consistently do it against other opponents. Going to be a weak point, unfortunately.

Parts of the team that is looking good so far:

-Secondary...Bolton is Bolton, CBs look much better and don't be shocked if a certain freshman starts day one. Kid is going to be very good.

-Receivers...Keke has been a blessing. Big body, not extremely fast, but catches everything and makes some moves. Don't be surprised if he isn't second or third team all SEC. Hazelton is a "Mr. Reliable" type player. Fantastic at short to intermediate routes with very solid hands. Knox is option 3, probably gets the nod to start, but nothing spectacular and some of the freshman are flashing. Overall, we won't lose a ton of games because of our receivers. Very lucky for us coach Drink identified this immediately on arrival or we would have been in a huge mess.

-Tailbacks...you know the story here. They are in shape, look great, taking on the new offense well, Robinson will have 3-4 really solid weapons between the backs and the receivers.

This is all commentary from people close to the program. You pretty much get bits and pieces from journalists anyway.

The last thing is, don't judge the team from the Alabama game. While this year's team is better than last year's team, the schedule is very, very difficult. Robinson and team aren't probably going to look super sharp game one, as they are learning a brand new system in a very weird year. Things are still coming together and most of the mistakes are from a lack of reps/practice with the new offensive scheme, NOT player ability. It probably won't all be worked out game one.

What's great news, thanks to the NCAA giving players an extra year, just consider this one a long, difficult practice. Our team will be much better for it in 2021. When we got Bama/LSU this year, it was a blessing not a curse. Everyone will learn from this experience and have a chance to improve for the real season next year.
