I believe people at the highest levels of government were truly alarmed in the beginning weeks and months. Clearly, they feared hundreds of thousands, if not millions might die from the China virus. However, government did what it always does by manipulating our fears into greater budgets and authorities with no end game in sight. Trump has been careful in his response to the apparent CV-19 crisis, allocating all of the resources and authorizing the protocols recommended by medical experts. Looking back, Trump's management of it has been masterful.
