I am 55 years old, smoke and drink regularly, and am no picture of health although I have no real underlying problems. I had a fever and was sick the first day. Pretty sick on day two. A little bit sick on day three, then had no symptoms other than mild fatigue and no appetite the next few days. It is a good diet plan. I remained isolated at the house the full ten days and had no symptoms at all the final few days other than boredom. I did not die. I did not have to be hospitalized. My wife (age 51) was also positive and never had any symptoms whatsoever. My youngest daughter is an incoming freshman at Mizzou. It is assumed I caught it from her. She and about six of her best friends had it, and none had any symptoms at all other than loss of the sense of taste. None of them died. None were hospitalized. All have recovered from whatever there was to recover from.
