Everyone sins. I'm sure the pope sins. But the pope isn't out there pretending to be ultra-religious and a moral higher authority while his wife (I know he doesn't have one) is getting railed by the pool boy who they're paying off.

Falwell and most high-profile evangelicals like him are some of the worst people in the world who are pretty much the opposite of what Jesus would want spreading his word. If I were a Christian I would absolutely hate that guys like Falwell, Pat Robertson, Joel Osteen, and Kenneth Copeland are the public faces of religion in this country. It actually harms it and is one of the reasons why the numbers of people that identify as Christian is at an all-time low.
